Easy Swimsuit Cover Up Tutorial!

Easy Swimsuit Cover Up Tutorial!

Thank you so much for sharing!

Hi Everyone!  While I don’t have my entire house in order yet, I am functional enough to make videos again.. yay!  If you didn’t hear the news of my move, you can go here. I have been wanting to do some simple summer DIY’s so this video is an Easy Swimsuit Cover Up Tutorial!  I explain how I did it in the video and also explain how you can customize it to fit your own style!

coverupblog5 What do you think of this cover up?! coverupblog4 Materials: -1 1/4 yard of burnout knit or very lightweight knit fabric. (Usually knits are 60 inches wide) -Trim of choice – amount will depend on what measurements you decide. If you use my measurements you need 1 yard for the neckline and 1 1/4 yard for the front trim.  I used pom pom trim for the bottom front and ric rac for the neckline.  The great thing about knits is you that you can leave the edges raw if you want. -Coordinating thread -sewing machine *If you don’t have a sewing machine, you could use liquid stitch instead! coverupblog3 My cover up was cut to 40 inches wide x 60 inches long.  This is over course customizable!  I am 5’9, but you can easily make it longer, shorter – the sleeves shorter, whatever you like! coverupblog2 I love the drape in the sleeve and the pom pom trim!  I hope you enjoy! Here is the video tutorial!

Super cute! Love how it is easy to make. Great job! When I was young ( ugh, those were the days) we use to call that trim dingle balls! Haha!
